A Study Of Tourism In South India

This study on the trends of tourism development in South India, especially focuses on issues related to coastal fisherfolk in Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. The study covers a vast coastline and attempts to be comprehensible and representative. The first part deals with tourism promotion and the displacement of fishermen from their original place of residence. The second part of the study deals with the impact of tourism in South India.
