New Delhi: Narendra Kumar Sinha, who is serving as Secretary – Culture, Government of India, has been temporarily appointed by the Appointments Committee of the Union Cabinet, following the superannuation of Dr Lalit K Panwar on July 31, 2015. Sinha will hold the new position for three months or until a permanent incumbent is appointed, whichever is earlier. He is a 1980-batch IAS officer from Bihar cadre, and was appointed as Secretary - Culture in May 2015.
