Mumbai: Mumbai is the third cheapest city in the world for travellers in terms of cost of room services in hotels, revealed a survey by TripAdvisor. Cape Town, in South Africa, is the cheapest city, while Sharm el-Sheikh in Egypt is the second best. Paris is the most expensive city for travellers in terms of room service, followed by Moscow. The survey is based on rates in Indian currencies for room services in four-star hotels.

“While we bear in mind the cost of a room for a night during our travel, we often forget to account for incidentals incurred at the hotel for services like in-room dining and laundry. The cost comparison of these popular items from hotels around the world gives an overview of how far their budget can take them,” Nikhil Ganju, Country Manager, TripAdvisor (India).
